Before a piece of artwork is mass-printed, the printing company may ship a run of "artist proof" copies to the owner of the work, so as to check for print errors. We received eight artist proof editions of our "Virgin Variant" designed exclusively for Alamo City ComicCon. These artist proof editions do not have a bar code and are intended for internal use, NOT PUBLIC SALE.

A "virgin variant" is a version of a comic with no lettering on the front cover. On the back cover is printed "Evolution Revolutionaries #1 Virgin Variant designed exlusively for Alamo City ComicCon." The one-time use download code is NOT INCLUDED in the back of these books. Typically, the download codes are added in with a clear sticker label featuring the code; for this run of books, those stickers are absent. We will however email you a link with a digital download code for the title track, "Evolution Revolutionaries" once your order has been placed.
Comes shipped in a hand-numbered bag and board.
